Local 598 - This local was born in 1939 in Flint, Michigan to represent workers at one of the Fisher Body plants where UAW members staged the 1937 Great Sit Down Strike and currently represents workers at the GM Flint Truck plant. | Local 599 - This local proudly built fine Buick automobiles for most of the last century, and is currently building high quality Powertrain components. | Local 602 - Chartered January 18, 1939, this is the local that brought the UAW to Lansing, Mich. The Delta Twp plant is the newest GM assembly plant in the US and currently manufactures the Saturn Outlook, the GMC Acadia and the Buick Enclave. | Local 652 - This amalgamated Lansing local represents the GM Grand River plant that assembles the award winning Motor Trend Car of the Year, the Cadillac CTS and IPS plants , Android Industries , Plastech, and Ryder. | Local 659 - This local represents several GM plants, including: Flint Powertrain V-8 Engine, Flint Metal Center, Service Parts Operation, Delphi E West Flint, Die Management, and A.C.C.
