    On April 10th Working Families' Friend held its 6th Annual Texas Holdem Tournament at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Hall.  Nearly 200 poker players competed for the coveted honor of making it to the final table.  Nine players achieved that goal.  There are photos of this event in the 2015 Texas Hold'em Photo Gallery.

    I posted this picture one year ago today. As we finish up the week we recognize 911 Dispatchers and I sit to reflect in my almost 25 years of doing this job. When I started this job I wanted to get my foot in the door to be a cop, I sure am glad I changed my mind and stuck with being a dispatcher. It has been a good ride and a great career.
